When the Siren Stops is my debut book, and it is very personal, a reflection on my own life, the experiences of the other responders, and everything I wish I had learned at a much earlier age. So, to those responders reading this, whether you are married to, friends with, or working through some of this for yourselves, know that you are not alone in this. Healing is possible. And being strong isn’t only about staying silent but being brave enough to stand up, talk out, and keep going.
